Jonathan S. Motter, CLU, ChFC®
My personal role on our team at Northwestern Mutual is the Financial Representative. The purpose of this role is to truly understand what is important to my clients and hold them accountable by aligning their actions with their goals. My passion for this type of planning stems from experiences within my own family and the situations I’ve seen others go through during my volunteer work with Hospice and the local Alzheimer’s Association. I am committed to learning more as the needs of my clients change, grow and become more complex. By sharing what’s important for you and your family, our team will remove the burden and help implement a plan to which we’ll help hold you accountable!

Janet Millar, LMFT
I am the daughter of a farmer and a school librarian from the small community of Wasco. My parents taught me the importance of giving back in terms of civic engagement and volunteering. I attended CSU Bakersfield (CSUB) for both my Master's and Bachelor’s degrees. I became licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist and practiced in the community as well as volunteered in many local non-profits. Currently I am serving in the role of Coordinator of the Counseling Center at CSUB. We provide mental health services to students who face barriers and hurdles along their academic journey to graduation. I continue to be involved in other ways on campus including the Academic Senate, the Campus Behavioral Assessment Response and Intervention Team (BART), support the CSUB Athletes as well as teach courses or guest lecture. When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, walking my dogs, reading, spending time with my family and friends and relaxing at the Petroleum Club. I am looking forward to participating as a Membership Ambassador, letting others know what a wonderful experience it is to be at the Club with excellent staff and fabulous food.
